I HAVEN'T CHECKED THIS OUT, but I read that the horn is inside the driver's side fender, behind the removable rubber inner liner for the wheel well. The fellow mentioned to remove the driver's front wheel, pull the rubber liner down, and reach up inside the fender to gain access to the horn.
The 2006 four Explorer factory horn is located on the right hand side of the radiator. The horn will be behind the front grill.
look along top of grill under hood in front of radiator
follow the top radiator hose to the front of the engine. Right under the intake manifold answer Thermostats are located in the engine intake of any ford explorer.
The 2004 Oldsmobile radiator is located behind the front grill. The radiator will be in the front of the engine compartment.
Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine to locate the thermostat housing. The housing is located at the front of the intake manifold.

Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator , it connects to a metal pipe which connects to the thermostat housing that is bolted to the front of the engine . The thermostat is inside the thermostat housing
The horn is located on the front of the radiator bulkhead, to the right of the rightside frame member, below the right headlight assembly. You can access it from below the bumper.
