Is the inuit language taught in schools?

Inuit is spoken in the American state of Alaska, in northern Canada and in Greenland. In Canada there is now a law enabling parents to have the right to have their children educated in the Inuit language up to grade 3. The teaching programme will be extended so that by 2019 all school grades will be able to offer Inuit language teaching.
