ISO is International Organization for Standardization and responsible for international management standards. ISO 9001: 2000 is one of the management standards that ISO created.
It could be the Quality Control system ISO 9001, maybe a version of those rules that came out in the year 2000? It is compose of the combined ISO 9001, ISO 9002, and ISO 9003 standards. ISO 9001 2000 is also the older version of the latest ISO 9001:2008 version. Issues that were failed to be highlighted or taken action of by the ISO 9001:2000 version were added on the new ISO 9001: 2008 version.
ISO 9000, ISO 9001, and ISO 9004

No, downloading ISOs is never legal unless the ISO is public domain.
The ISO 9001:2000 Standard Standardcontains Quality Management System requirements. This is the only ISO9000 series Standard against which your Quality Management System can be certified.
ISO 9002 is an outdated standard referring to quality assurance for companies that did not have product design. The relevant standard is now ISO9001:2000 which is a standard for quality management for all service and production industries. ISO 9001:2000 is part of the ISO 9000 family of standards that covers the combined 9001, 9002, and 9003 standards. It was later on updated into ISO 9001:2008 standard where the existing ISO 9001:2000 requirements and changes intended to improve the ISO 14001:2004 consistency were resolved.
No it is not necessary to have ISO 9001 to achieve ISO 22000 Certification. They are separate standards, ISO 9001 is for a quality management system, ISO 22000 is a food safety management system. The 2 systems can be integrated if a company chooses to pursue them both.
The guideline ISO 9004-2 is already withdrawn by ISO during 2000 version updation. Hence, this question may not be relevant. Regards Vaidyanathan
It is a standard. BS EN means british standard, europen normal,ISO is international standards organsiation. 9000 is the standard number, 2000 is the year.
No I just received a pink ISO straightener for Christmas and I went to plug it in and 15 min. later i went to use it and it was cold. One side of it was freezing and the other side was warm. I bought it at the mall and this man at a booth was selling them was a employee for ISO it was $80. I do NOT recommend ISO flat irons.
