The original one that collapsed, no. It was torn down and sold as scrap, much of this scrap was sold to Canada and used in part of the construction of their Peace River Bridge.

The replacement one, yes absolutely.

I have driven over both the current Tacoma Narrows Bridge and the Peace River Bridge.

Why soldiers are told to not march while crossing abridge?

Harmonics. Most bridges are strong enough to support the weight of soldiers marching in lock step, but the constructive vibrations still hasten the need for repairs. Harmonic vibrations induced by the wind brought down the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, "Galloping Gertie."

Does bridge built by Alexander to tire still exist?

The 'bridge' was earth fill, so it made Tyre from being an island to be a peninsula, which it still is.

What is the longest swing bridge in US?

AnswerChoate Bridge - Constructed in 1764, it is the oldest documented bridge in Massachusetts and the second oldest documented bridge in the United States. State Route 1A (South Main Street) over the Ipswich River in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Too much disagreement on which bridge is actually THE OLDEST bridge in US. According to Wikipedia encyclopedia, the Frankford Avenue Bridge in Philadelphia is the oldest (see: http:/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankford_Avenue_Bridge). According to this article, the bridge was built in 1697 or 1698. It is also known as the Pennypack Creek Bridge, the Holmesburg Bridge, and the King's Highway Bridge (probably it's original name).*Actually this answer is false. The oldest bridge in the US is the old stone arch bridge next to the jewel mill (glen mill) in Rowley, MA. Built in 1643 and is still in use today.

Where is the tallest bridge in the US?

By the way, we have the tallest bridge that supports cars to go over it, but Colorada beats us with being the tallest bridge(not a bridge that supports cars). New River Gorge Bridge is still a better bridge though ;3.

What rank is the Golden Gate Bridge?

The Golden Gate is one of America's most beautiful bridges, but if you mean in size/length, it's quite a ways down the list, around #30. Off the top of my head, both the Straits of Mackinac bridge in Michigan and the Verrazano Narrows bridge in New York are much longer and/or higher - and there are many others still bigger.

Are there still Toyota Tacoma trucks of 1997?
