The thermostat is inside its housing on the upper radiator hose
on the engine block side.
If yoor 1996 Integra has the1.8L engine, the thermostat is located at the back of the motor at the end of the bottom radiator hose.
The thermostat is located at the other end of upper radiator hose.
Follow the lower radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, that's where it is.
Should be a in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
On the other end of the large top-left radiator hose.
just follow the lower radiator hose to the engine and that is where it is sitting@

It should be a white (or road stained black) plastic plug on the bottom left or bottom right of the radiator.
Replace your thermostat.
follow your lower radiator hose to where it connects to the engine block remove that hose and there u go thermostat will be inside the thermostat housing right underneath
follow the bottom hose on the radiator to where it connects to the engine. Inside that connector is the where the thermostat goes. make sure you use some RTV gasket sealer for reassembly.
check to be sure that the thermostat is not backwards and is the correct heat rated unit for the car
The radiator support on a 1991 Acura Integra is held on with several bolts. Use the appropriate sized socket and loosen all the bolts. Pull off the support.
