Under sterring colum right on fire wall. some are hard to remove use niddle nose pliers.
If you follow the instructions that come with the replacement it's not that hard.
Not rocket science, there are a few mods, conversion's, nothing that a fair mech with a "I can do" attidude, cannot easily stuff in there, basicially the same block, nothing new to a decent wrench with imagination.jr
its on the passengerside just below the engine behind the exhaust. kinda hard to get too.
underneath pass side tword back of motor hard to miss if your lookin in the general area
Could be a venting problem.
About an hours labour. They are not hard to put back in. SO about $60-$100
The 93 Caprice could be losing fuel pressure. Check the fuel filter and the pressure to see if the pump could be bad.
I have a 1994 caprice wagon with a 350 in it and I just removed the oil pan. It was a hard job to do.First of all the oil pan bolts were hard to get to. Then I had to remove the starter and the oil cooling lines and the oil filter housing with a Allen wrench (metric). then I had to remove the motor mount bolts and jack the engine up as far as it could go and I barely had enough clearance to get the oil pan off.So I guess if you had to do it it could be done... Hope this info helps you out.
LOW BRAKE FLUID!!! (very dangerous!) Fill reservoir, bleed the brakes, fill again to the correct level. After a few times braking, check fluid level. if fluid is lost, check brakes for leaks and have it fixed asap!!
I've been having the same problem with my 94. If you hit the panel really hard a few times in front of the temp gage, it should come on. Ha. I know it sounds crazy, but, it might save you some $$. ;) It works!
Hard starting, loss of power, poor fuel economy, and a blowing noise under full acceleration.
