It is indeed a Winchester 131. You need to check with a gunsmith for parts. gunpartcorp has only the right hand extractor available on their website- sold out of lefthand- but a smith will have other sources.
The Winchester model 12 shotguns with the Y prefix were made by Winchester from 1972-1975.These vent rib barrel shotguns were hand checkered, with select walnut stocks and jeweled bolt. They were fine made shotguns that were only available for 3 years, and sold out quickly.
Sometimes. Depends on the make and model.
While it is possible to change the safety configuration on the M37 to make it easier to use for the left-handed, it is not a matter of simply reversing the existing safety. The right-hand safety must be removed from the trigger group and replaced with a left-hand safety, which is available from the Ithaca factory. The cost for the left-hand safety in December 2007 was $12.50 (US$).

I can't rightly say... Winchester never made a Model 1892 in 30-30. The Model 1892 was available in 25-20 W.C.F., 32 W.C.F. (32-20), 38 W.C.F. (38-40), and 44 W.C.F. (44-40), all of which are pistol length cartridges. The Model 1894 on the other hand was made in 32-40, 38-55, 30 W.C.F. (30-30), 25-35 W.C.F., and 32 W.S. (Winchester Special).
the model 1894 winchesters of that time did not have what you would consider a mechanical safety,( a button or wing type safety) there safety was a half cock, that is once a round was levered into the breech and the hammer was all the way back you had to safely hold on to the hammer with your finger hand squeeze the trigger to ease the hammer forward then thumb the hammer back until it clicked in the half cock position.
If this rifle is in pristine condition, along with never being fired.A Winchester model 70 standard model would be worth 600 dollars.A Winchester model 70 deluxe(hand cut checkering, black ebony for arm tip) would be worth 700 dollars.
Your Winchester model 21 which is a hand made shotgun was made in the year 1932.Winchester made 330 model 21,s that year. The value cannot be determined without a much more detailed description of your shotguns overall condition including the bores.I would have a member of the Winchester collectors assoc.evaluate your shotgun.Winchester model 21,s can bring a very respectable price today.
nope, no lefthand available
With the serial number that you have provided, your Winchester model 1894 rifle was made in the year 1951.The availability of ammo should not be a problem since Remington still loads this caliber with there 170gr.core-lokt bullet. If you are a reloader, components are readily available to hand load this cartridge.I still do with either hornady,or speer bullets and dies are available at any well stocked sporting goods store.Brass is available also.I have a Marlin model 336rc(regular carbine) dated to 1949,and it loves my reloads with the Hornady bullets.Good luck, and enjoy that nice pre-64 model 1894 rifle.
