Yes, there is a light to indicate 2 wheel drive; 4 wheel high; and 4 wheel low. I have a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4.
A malfunction has been detected
The instrument panel is the gauges and warning lights that are in front of the driver and behind the steering wheel
WHAT? Its right in front of the driver.
Do you still need an answer? yes
Sorry, there's not. Believe me, I've tried everything! ~ShayminSteph
switching to a ranger fan would define failing life.
with a hammer
A clicking noise in the engine of a 91 Ranger could indicate a problem with the valves. A valve lifter in the engine may be worn or stuck.
No it would indicate maybe a lean mixture in the fuel but no major problems
It's located under the instrument panel to the right of the transmission hump, behind the carpet or vinyl. I had to reset it on my 93 ranger but its still in the same location as a 94 ranger. Hope this helped
First, check the fuse box and replace the fuse for the indicator lights. If the lights still do not work then replace the dash bulb itself.
The powertrain control module has detected a malfunction - probably a sensor (Helpfull)
