Well, I only heard this in an informal conversation, I was told this by someone who is interested into WW2. He told me that there may be cases where young Germans of both sexes wish to ''buy off'' what their ancesrots did to Jews, so they purposefully seek to date and/or marry a person of Jewish origin. I haven't verified this rumour, and I think this is a rare occasion, and done because of feelings of guilt and/or ancestry burden.
