I think after you get the National, you can talk to him everyday, and he will tell you a new Pokemon that appears in his garden everyday. Some of the Pokemon in the trophy garden are: bonsly, pichu, chansey, castform, chatot, and some rare Pokemon that I happen to forgot the name of. Hope this helps! Talk to him every day, one day he will tell you that there´s an Eevee in his garden. Tip: You could also go the Pokemon Mansion, save your game and then talk to Mr. Backlot. If he doesn´t have the Pokemon you want in his garden, then turn off your DS, turn it back on and talk to him again. Repeat this until he has the Pokemon you want...
