Yes there is and I own one. It is a very rare and old gun that my uncle gave me for x-mas. He got it from a yard sale because an old man passed away and it was stored in his barn. I have shot 6 deer with it and it is very accurate.
The Savage springfield 840 is the later version of the Saveage 340. Midway USA has a #1 weaver mount for the 840. Under savage 340 they also offer a B-square mount with rings that has better reviews than the weaver mount.
A Savage model 24 -3030- 12 gauge in good condition is valued at $500. It is a rifle over shotgun combo.

I have a Savage Model 340A, 30-30 and it has no serial number. I was told that the older ones did not have any. At the time it was made it was not legally required to have one.
Savage made it for Montgomery Ward. It's the same as the Savage 840.
