Your best bet is to try the local new age/ pagan/ wiccan stores in your local area. Most will sell Pagan magazines with contact information of local organisations, along with notices in the windows and other useful information.

What is a third degree Wiccan?

This should actually differ from Coven to Coven. In my circle we advance each 365 days to the next level. You are an initiant (a Level 0) for 1 year; then level 1 for 1 year, etc. So a Third Degree Wiccan in my coven is someone who has been in the coven for 3 full years.

Where was Wiccan rituals practiced?

Well, anywhere. Go to a local Wiccan coven and ask were they do their magic. For more in depth research Google the subject.

Is there any wiccan covens in Lincoln County Maine?

It is considered very inappropriate for one Wiccan to publish information about another practitioner or coven. But you may be able to find information at a local Unitarian Universalist Church, which often have connections with the Wiccan community.

Are there any wiccan churches in Massachusetts?

Wiccans don't have churches. If you're looking for a coven search the site linked below.

Do wicca covens have leaders?

Usually, yes - especially if the coven has more than two people. The leaders are usually the most experienced in the Wiccan coven. Depending on their gender, they are called the High Priest or the High Priestess.

What would happen to a Wiccan if she doesn't have a coven?

Nothing. Just like a Catholic doesn't necessarily have to be a parishioner of a specific church, a Wiccan doesn't need to be part of a coven to be a Wiccan. That being said, just as there are Catholics who believe that to be a Catholic in good standing and be instructed properly in the belief system one must belong to a church, there are denomination of Wicca that believe the same about Wiccans. These are usually called "initiatory traditions" or "traditional Wicca". Gardnerian, Alexandrian, Georgian are among the Wiccan traditions that require (usually) coven membership and instruction and do not (usually) look favorably upon those who claim self-initiation and self-study as they (generally speaking) believe that initiation and proper instruction are things that are better done within the coven circle among a trained and experienced group of practitioners.

Can a Wiccan Coven have more than one High Priestess?

Different covens will have different rule but most offten there is only one high priestess

Is it necessary in a Wiccan coven to have a high priest and priestess?

Some covens and working groups prefer to have both a Priest and Priestess, while others may have one of either or neither. It is down to individual preference, although traditionally a coven is headed by both.

What is one of the most affective Wiccan rituals for good luck or love?

There are several rituals that Wiccans do for luck and love, and they very person to person or coven to coven. Some of these rituals include stones, herbs, and on occasion poppets (dolls). Among the Wiccan and Pagan communities respectively, Rituals for Love and Luck are designed by the each practitioner on a need basis, or the individual will find a spell online that matches their needs and modify it to fit what it is they are after.

Where can you take Wicca classes in NYC?

Classes? Wicca is not taught through classes... It is a very old and very spiritual religion. I assume you're confused and are actually referring to Wiccan covens? Wiccan covens can sometimes be found through an internet search in your area, but be warned, this isn't a 'class' you can just walk into and leave half an hour later as an official Wiccan. Initations take place, and there is a *lot* to learn. I suggest you read up on the subject before even considering joining a coven. I doubt many covens let people with no knowledge of the religion join them anyway. Also, are you aware that you don't have to be part of a coven to be a Wiccan? You can be a solitary Wiccan, and practice on your own. This is what the majority of us do before joining a coven when/if we feel ready to join a community of others.

What is a member of a coven called?

The leader of a coven is a witch. Male of female, they are a witch first. In some groups they are called a High Priest and/or High Priestess. Generally speaking all practitioners are Priests/Priestesses as they all have the right and ability to speak directly to their deities, If you encounter a Witch Queen, you are talking to a woman who has created and lead three or more covens (circles or groups).

Can men Study Wicca?

Yes, Men can study Wicca. In fact, there is a place of honor in Wicca that can - theoretically - only be filled by a male: The High Priest. Although some Wiccan covens may be female-only, the majority welcome both male and female. Regardless of joining a coven, you can always become a "solitary" Wiccan, and study by yourself (although I really do recommend joining a local coven, or at least getting to know other solitaries).
