Very rarely. Amtrak is the operator of inter-city train service in the United States. Greyhound is the major inter-city bus service in the United States. Occasionally they will share a station (Milwaukee for example), but usually not. There is frequently a Greyhound bus stop at an Amtrak station allowing train passengers to connect to points not served by trains. But the bus stop is usually just a street corner outside the station and the city's primary bus station is located elsewhere.

Get off BART at Embarcadero station and get on the Muni Metro line T (Third Street) heading towards third street and then you will get off at Gilman/Paul station and either walk or take Muni Bus 56 to the Candelstick Park. Complicated? Yes but it can be done.
