Are you sure you have spelled that correctly? Because I can only find a "Strasburg" not "Strausburg" in Pennsylvania.
Assuming that you meant "Strasburg": Amtrak Trains do not stop at Strasburg, but they do stop at Lancaster, PA, which is pretty close. Only 8 miles away.
See the Related Link below for the Amtrak homepage. Under "To" type in "NYP" for New York Penn Station, and under "From" type in "LNC" for the Lancaster, PA, station.
If you click the tab that says "Stations" at the top of the page, you can get maps and directions to the station.

The LIRR is a railroad system that has trains that go on train tracks above ground and sometimes underground as it hits Manhatten and brooklyn. The NYC subway is totally different. The NYC subway has buses that run on streets underground and sometimes elevated. The NYC is essentially an urban bus system that has buses that go more underground.
From Lynbrook, NY, you take the Long Island Railroad to Penn Station. From there, you can get to Harlem by using NYC Subway, Amtrak, or NYC Subway plus Metro-North.
