This just happened to me today- connect the battery, put your key in the drivers side door, lock then unlock. That's it.
By disconnecting the battery.
I would take it to either the dealer or a shucks/autozone asap to have the battery/alternator checked. You could have a open wire, or an alternator problem. Once the battery gets really low you will not be able to turn off the security system and you will have to have it towed to the dealer to have a new battery and the system reprogrammed. You will not be able to jump start the jeep because the security system will not disengage if the battery is dead FYI, I tried that it didnt work.
Low battery or power surge

The only method of disarming the security system is thru the door locks, if it does not disarm; this will entail a fault in the security system. First, the vehicle battery will have to be tested, a low, or shorted battery can trigger the security as well. If the battery is good, the sytem will need electrical diagnosis, which I recommend be done at the dealer, since they are more familiar with this vehicle's security system, than most independent facilities are.
That depends on what brand alarm system you have. If it is a hardwired alarm system and you have never lost power to your home, it should last five years. If it is a wireless system or if you have lost power a few times then its about three years. Most battery backups are hard wired meaning they do not require changing. You can verify your type and when to change them with the system manufacturer.
We get alot of no start questions, they are difficult to answer because there are many components in starter system, from the key to the ignition key to wiring to relays and the starter motor, oh yeah, the battery could still be the problem, a jump does not eliminate the battery as the problem
Consulting your user guide is a good starting place for determining if you need to change your battery emergency light in your home security system. If the battery is not the cause there may be other trouble shooting tips located in the manual.
If I was you I would disconnect the battery.
For a home security alarm system, check out Smith Monitoring Security System. It costs $17.95 a month and is currently offering free installation and activation. They also provide a free back up battery.
I would highly recommend that you get your alarm security system fixed or changed. Having your alarm go off late is not good for the security system. Go to homesecuritystore.com and they have a wide variety of home alarm security systems.
