Unfortunately, no. There are no cures for any type of influenza available, only preventive flu vaccinations. Flu is caused by a virus so there is currently no medical cure. There are treatments for the symptoms only. See the related question below for more information about treatment of H1N1/09 Swine Flu.
Currently, there is no cure or vaccine yet for the new strain of swine flu.

In order to prevent the Flu virus , any type including swan flu, You Are suppose to go get the preventing flu shot for the virus. Currently there is no Flu shot for the Swine Flu.

although I did see on the news the the flu shot dose not prevent the swine flu, but good hygiene is mostly the key to keeping safe from he swine flu. try to keep away from friends or family who have visited Mexico because that is where it originated at. so far only one death in the united states from his flu and that was 2 year old kid. Actually There Have Been 150-250 Deaths So Far But You Shouldn't Get Worried About It As It Lowers Your Immune System. go to the doctors if your a little bit ill cos you don't know what it is even if you have a cold as little things build up and you don't know unless you go and you need to know fast, if you do have it be fair and stay in for the other people who don't have it.

Here's A List of preventative measures: Things You Shouldn't Do; Touch Your Eyes Ears Nose And Mouth Get Worried Go Near Relatives Or Friends That Have Been To Mexico Cough And Or Sneeze Without Covering Go Near Large Groups Of People --------------------------------------------------------------- Here are a few things that you should do: -wash you hands often with soap and water -cover your mouth when you cough -keep your distance.... you never know who has swine flu -stay home if you feel as if you might be sick. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Symptoms include fever, headache, chills, body aches, tiredness, dry cough, sore throat, nasal congestion, nausea and vomiting. now, they have found two great cures for the swine flu, the person who answered this before me was probably a few weeks ago, but still try to avoid it You cannot get swine flu by eating pigs! they make sure that the pigs you eat dont have swine flu! the ones that do, they dont feed you!
if it is caught late then nothing can be done however if the flu is caught in the early stages then something can be done. if it is caught late then nothing can be done however if the flu is caught in the early stages then something can be done.

It is not cured, but it luckily doesn't transfer easily from human to human, so the spread is somewhat contained in humans. It is also a rare disease in humans, but continues to infect small numbers in areas of the world among water birds and poultry. There has been a vaccine developed but it is stockpiled in case there is a pandemic and is not available commercially as a preventive vaccine yet.

If you mean the swine flu H1N1, the answer is no, there is no cure. You can keep yourself from getting H1N1 or any flu by eating a healthy diet for one thing and getting a good nights sleep. Those two things will help you build up your immune system and hopefully keep you from getting the flu.

A flu vaccine might also keep your from getting the flu.

There is more evidence now that taking vitamin D3 supplements helps to fight the flu as well. 1000 to 2000 IU of vitamin D during the fall and winter can help.

There are herbal extracts that can also help you avoid getting the flu and if you do get it, these might make the flu less severe and not last as long. They are called Umcka and Sambucus from Natures Way, you can get them in almost any grocery store. Sambucus is usually taken to boost the immune system. Once you start to feel sick, you take the Umcka right away, the sooner you take it the better it works. Which is a lot like the prescription Tamiflu. Which by the way also has as its main ingredient an herb/plant. The Anise plant.

Absolutely, it has proven to be mild except to certain risk groups (see related question below). Severe cases require hospital care, but mild flu symptoms just require rest, fluids, and over the counter symptom relief, the pharmacist can help you select those that will help your specific symptoms. Stay off work, out of school, and out of public in general until you go 24 straight hours without fever when not using fever reducers. You should spend time in bed as much as possible.

The reason it is a pandemic is because humans have no antibodies for this strain of influenza, so if you contract it, you will get sick. Children, those with underlying systemic health problems, and people with compromised immune systems are some of those at higher risk for a fatal case of H1N1/09 (just like any other flu). If you are finding your symptoms are getting worse, especially with high fever and when you have a worsening cough after you were feeling better, you should contact your health care professional for advice as you might be at risk for getting a severe case.

This information is regarding current strains in North America as of October 2009. More severe strains may emerge as early as this coming fall. Please check your national government health website for preventive measures and treatment information for local strains.

No. The term "Antidote" is usually only used to refer to treatments for poisons or toxins. There is no cure for the flu. There are medicines that make you feel less ill and help you recover faster from a flu infection, such as Tamiflu, but the infection must run its course and your body must do the fighting to inactivate the virus on its own.

It can not be "cured" but it can be prevented with a vaccination and it can be treated symptomatically or with anti-viral medications if started soon enough when indicated. See the related questions.

Most animals are able to fight it off like most people are. There is a vaccine for pigs for one type of swine flu but it is not the same as the pandemic swine flu vaccine.

Can you heal Swine Flu or are you stuck with it for life?

The swine flu is a virus. Viruses cannot be cured by antibiotics, and can only be cured by your body creating antibodies and using white blood cells to fight of the infection. Vaccines are the only other option, which contain harmless forms of the virus in order for antibodies to be made and ready for a real disease. There is no current vaccine for the swine flu, however, which means you have to wait for your body to fight off the infection. In rare cases, death may occur, but you are definitely not stuck with swine flu.
