You just replaced new spark plugs and wires on 1991 ford f150 5.8l and truck feels like there are 1 or more cylinders miss firing what could be the problem?
check that all plug wires go to the correct plug, that is all that would be the problem If the vehicle did not miss prior to replacing the wires and plugs, this could indicate that the plugs may not be gapped properly for that vehicle's engine, or when inserting the spark plugs one or more plugs may have inadvertenly missed the spark plug hole and closed the gap further than the pre-set or recommended setting, or one or more of the plug wires may not be connected to the proper spark plug. Consult a local auto parts store for the correct wiring diagram for the spark plug wires or you may purchase a Haynes Manual which will have this diagram in it as well as the correct spark plug gap and you may also find a spark plug gap tool too.
