usually both the same thing just different names. Most hydronic (water) systems are referred to as cooling coil and heating coil. Direct refrigerant system is an evaporator coil. Also depends on who your talking to.
You probably have mold on the evaporator coil.
What is the difference between rated capacity and the nominal capacity
yes. Can also be referred to as indoor coil.
nominal cooling capacity is the derated cooling capacity at a certain design condition. Rated cooling capacity is the cooling capacity at sea level
Actually a refrigeration compressor is a component of an air conditioner. The refrigerant used in an air conditioner is called Freon. The compressor in an air conditioner evacuates the evaporator providing cooling to the air.
An evaporator coil is a vital part of any heating or cooling system. It is usually found in an air conditioner, because evaporator coils are particularly good at absorbing heat when air is passed through their system. Evaporator coils look like a series of pipes.

sounds like you do not have your superheat or sub-cooling tds correct. if so it would remove the moisture at the evaporator and not your interior duct vents
A split air conditioner works by placing the evaporator indoors and the condenser outdoors. This keeps the exhaust heat from entering the building and interfering with cooling.
One kicks on for normal cooling, they both kick on when the air conditioner is turned on.
no! sensor is the one senses the cooling of the air condition while the evaporator core is the lid of the sensor
no , the heater core is for your heat , the evaporator core is for your air conditioning ( cooling )
