The fan in a 2002 Kia Sportage turns at engine speed only when the engine is exceptionally hot. If the fan clutch has been replaced, one can rest assured the clutch is not the problem. In such circumstances, it is advisable to immediately check the thermal switch and fan relay for the electric radiator fan; if one or both of these is failing, one could find themselves having to pay out for some costly repairs.
easy 20 minutes you donnot need to remove the rad or the fan blades just 4 bolts behind the clutch assy
