Look on the right side fender (under the hood) right behind the battery, there should be a black box there with relays inside (fuel pump is one of them) and in one of these spots should be 2 15 amp fuses for the headlights. another thing to check is the headlight switch itself, take it out and if it looks burnt or smells bad that could be your problem

Turn up your dimmer switch. Should be next to the steering wheel on the dash board.
Your dash light fuse is blown.

The radio display is usually tied to the dash board lights. As you raise or lower the illumination on the dash, the radio lights should change. During the day (with your headlights off), the radio display is at full brightness so it is easier to read in daylight.

Check fuses, common circuit
According to a list I have: All models of Nissan locate their diagnostic connectors under the dash between the seering collumn and the drivers side door. However accuracy is unverified on this list. it is Front seating area, driver side, driver side of steering column, under dash, mounted above fuse panel
It controls the headlights, dash lights, tail lights and park lights. You don't repair it you replace it.
right besie the steering wheel to the left there is a little "volume like slider" it controlls the brightness of the interior lights just mess around with it
