One reason that your remote key will not unlock your Mazda 6 is that a fuse is blown. You may need to replace the batteries in the remote or reprogram the remote. A bad body control module is another reason the remote will not unlock the doors.
First thing I'd do is check the fuse for the power doorlock circuit.
tried both set of keys and the remote won't lock or unlock doors. Is this a fuse prob?/
Does the car door have a key slot and do you have a key for it or not

There is no single fuse. The alarm is disarmed by unlocking the doors with the key or the remote.
The batteris in both the remotes could have 'died' simyltaneously - or - check the fuse for the remote entry lock/unlock system to see if the fuse has blown.
on my 1996 it is on your left
The fuse panel is located under the dash drivers side. It can also be that the remote battery is dead.
I have Nissan Pathfinder 2002 Chilkoot...and Fuses are behind COIN BOX... DO you have Fuse Diagram... I am looking for remote lock/unlock
If you have a loss of power (blown fuse, replace battery, etc.) you have to reprogram the remote controls and overhead console. Turn ignition off to run 8 times then press button on remote control.
its the fuse
