I HAVE A 2001 RAM AND HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM. I FOUND A VACCUUM HOSE THAT RUNS UNDER THE FRONT EDGE OF THE AIR CLEANER THAT WAS WORE FROM ONE OF THE METAL HOSES COMING FROM THE COMPRESSOR. I SPLICED THE PLASTIC VACCUUM HOSE WITH A RUBBER HOSE AND IT FIXED MY PROBLEM. I HAVE A 2001 RAM AND HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM.
