DEFINITELY! I'm going through some anger issues myself at the present time over some old relationship issues; and let me tell ya, being 'nice' and not expressing my anger toward these people that deserve it. I'm finding myself suffering both depression AND anxiety from not expressing this. Supressing anger is not healthy in that it makes you feel powerless and in not acknowledging it is essentially not acknowledging your right as a human being to feel and express anger productively when it must be. My thoughts: express it to whomever you feel you need to make yourself feel 'whole' again. Anger at times is a part of who we are... sometimes not a pleasant feeling, particularly if we're not used to acknowledging it; but to not acknowledge it is to deny a part of yourself. Give yourself the right to feel angry and express it. Comes down to acknowledging, accepting and loving all parts of you.
Yes, there can be a link between anxiety and suppressed anger. When anger is not expressed or acknowledged, it can manifest as anxiety. The underlying feelings of anger may contribute to the overall feeling of unease and anxiousness. Therapy can help to explore and address these emotions in a healthy way.
To address anxiety, it is important to consider therapy, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, to learn coping strategies and address underlying issues. Relaxation techniques, exercise, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and avoiding triggers can also help manage anxiety. In some cases, medication prescribed by a healthcare provider may be beneficial.
Mental and physical health are interconnected. Poor mental health can lead to physical health issues like weakened immune system or increased risk of chronic diseases. Conversely, chronic physical conditions can impact mental health by causing stress, anxiety, or depression. Taking care of both aspects is crucial for overall well-being.

Oh yes, very much! I actually have asthma from anxiety and stress. It is fairly common too. The reason I obtained asthma was from when my grandfather died when I was about 12. Then for about a week I went through counseling with no success. I went to the doctor and they automatically knew I had asthma because of the stress and anxiety. They gave me an inhaler and I was fine and haven't had an asthma attack in 7 years.
