Albany has great ATV trails starting right from Aspen Creek Cabin. There are hundreds of miles to ride ATVs or 4x4s. Whether you are a dare devil and want to hit Muddy Creek or just want a joyful, scenic ride around Keystone and Rob Roy Reservoir. We ALWAYS stay at Aspen Creek Cabin. It is one of the newer rentals in town and they have all the accommodations you will need. The cabin is located just behind the lodge right on the trail head. check in out at www.aspencreekcabin.com
While staying at Aspen Creek Cabin, in Albany WY I did 6 in one day via a ATV. In fact one of them the owners and their cousin hide one. a nice place to stay, beautiful area for Geocaching and ATV trail riding
There is great fishing in Albany with many streams and ponds for fly fishing. Rob Roy reservoir is a short distance from Albany and has great trout. Rainbow, Brown and Brook Trout can be found in these areas. If you need a place to stay when in Albany, Wy. I always suggest Aspen Creek Cabin located right in town and easy access to the trail heads to the rivers, streams and lakes in the area. check it out at www.aspencreekcabin.com
Anytime of the year, I would stay in Albany, WY. it backs right up to the snowy range, 600,000 acres of pure beauty. my favorite is Aspen Creek Cabin, it's just down the way from the Albany Lodge. We prefer staying at Aspen Creek, as it is set away from the craziness of the lodge traffic yet close enough if you want to go up there for a meal, drink, gas etc... Aspen Creek has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, bathroom and living room. There website is on Wyoming tourism, visit Laramie, a few others and you can find their brochures at the WY welcome centers.

Medicine Bow is such a large area. So I hope this is helpful for you. In Albany, WY which is 33 miles west of Laramie and is right next to Snowy Mountain Range, I've stayed at a wonderful new cabin named Aspen Creek Cabin, it's very convenient to access the trail in Medicine bow as the practicably start at Aspen Creeks front door. Sleeps 8, very clean, close to equipment rental (snowmobile/ATV) if you don't have your own. Check out there website www.aspencreekcabin.com worth a look.
