Is there a problem if you take off the birth control patch 2 days before the normal day you usually take it off and you haven't had sex in 4 days?

You shouldn't take it off until you are suppose to, but if you have gone at least 4-5 days without sex and then take the patch off, you are safe from pregnancy. However, you will need to take the proper steps before you have sex again (follow instructions with the patch) or use a condom.
