the original equipment tires have a short life span. put a higher mileage, higher quality tire on the car. maintain tire rotations(3000 to 5000 miles), alignments( check once a year), and suspension checks(each tire rotation).

We own a 2001 elantra. We baught it new and have put119 ,000 miles on it. We have replaced the timing belt. Hyundai replaced th engine carriage and rocker arms because we live in the rust belt. Hyundai paid for that. Nothing other than tires and brakes.

The CV joint provides power to the wheels. It has nothing to do with alignment.
