Put key in ignition. Turn key till dash warning ligth come on. Press "open" button on fob. If it works the locks will go down and up to show it has worked.
hold milage reset button in and switch on ignition.hold for about 5 seconds and it will reset.
Just press the trip reset button
Close the window press the button again as if to close and listen for a click window reset
If it is the same as the 2002 model you hold the button in and keep it held in for 5 seconds after the window fully decends then hold it in until it is fully up and keep hold for 5 more seconds then it should be reset
hi put key in ignition but not turned on.keep footbreak depressed and keep trip meter pushed in.turn ignition to on but dont start car.wait and the millage will show ----.turn off ignition,next time you turn ignition on the service light will be out.
04 combo 1.7d. Hold mileage reset button and turn ignition to second setting (dash lights on), keep mileage button pressed for about 5 seconds until --- goes away, the service millage should reset.
To reset, with the ignition off, hold in the trip reset button, then turn the key to position 2 so that the dash lights come on, and the inspection message will change to 4 flashing dashes (----). release the trip button. Job done.
Unfortunately There is not a reset oil button ( Like the explorer) at least for the 2003 Expedition ( Eddie Bower model)
For the service light, Switch ignition on, The display will flash for 2 seconds, press the button next to fuel gauge until "----" appeares in the display, Release the button and switch the ignition off, and that should reset the light for you,
