To delete songs or videos. You need to do this on iTunes. Remove the designated songs or videos from your iTunes library by right clicking on the song or video and hitting delete. The next time you sync to your iPod from iTunes, it will take off the songs or videos not in your iTunes library. To delete apps. On your iPod, if you hold down the app you want to delete for a few seconds, all the apps will start shaking and x's will show at the top corner of the apps you added (the ones that didn't originally come with the iPod) and if you hit the x, it will ask you if you are sure you want to delete it from your iPod. Accept, and it is no longer on your iPod. You can also do this from iTunes, like the songs and videos. (Unfortunately, there is no way to delete the apps that came with your iPod.) To delete photos. there is no trash bin on the ipod touch sorry once you delete something it goes away forever if you want it back you have to get it again
