Is there a way to turn the headlights off on a 1996 Chevy truck They stay on all day long and I would like to be able to shut them off when not needed?

push your parking {emergency} brake down one click. that not enough to engage the brake or cause any drag on the brakes , but the truck will think its parked, as the daytime runnig light switch on the e-brake pedal will disengage. only one setback though, the brake light on the dash WILL light.
