# Dug a hole big enough to set the pool up in. he had a big pool.

# he set it up to have the pool sticking 6 inches out of the ground

# set up the pool according to the instructions. # His land had a slight slope so the pool stuck out of the ground a little more on one side than the other. # filled it up with water

# then back filed around the outside of the pool with a 10/1 sand cement mix. # Et Voila, 20 years later he had to replace the liner. and everything was still ion great condition.

Inground Pools Ideal for Year-Round Swimmers?

Once you’ve decided to budget the money for a swimming pool, you want to investigate the benefits of inground pools to see if this style of swimming pool construction will give you the best return on your investment. Depending upon budget, inground pools can be fashioned from concrete, vinyl liners or fiberglass. Having an inground pool not only provides hours of entertainment, enjoyment and exercise for family members, friends and guests, it also adds to the resale value of the home when the homeowner decides to sell the property. Unlike above ground pools, inground pools represent a permanent improvement to the property which can be enjoyed year-round. Unlike above ground pools which are limited as to the depth of water they can offer, inground pools can be designed to safely accommodate diving into deep water. While the size and shape of above ground pools is limited to circular and square designs, inground pools can be custom built in a variety of shapes and sizes, including kidney shape, rectangular and L-shaped. Inground pools are much easier to landscape, allowing them to fit into the environment rather than sticking out like a sore thumb. It is easy to put trees, shrubs and other landscaping around pool borders to offer some privacy protection as well as a wind break. Inground pools can become the focal point of a backyard designed to look like a tropical resort or getaway. It is also easier to put a security perimeter around inground pools via the use of locked fencing so that unwelcome guests or intruders don’t put the homeowner at the risk of liability by using the pool in an unauthorized fashion. Inground pools can be quite easy to maintain because many automatic cleaning features can be built into the pool, including a cover that automatically closes into place after use to prevent accidents as well as to keep leaves and other flying debris out of the pool water. Inground pools can represent a substantial investment, especially if they are landscaped and include special features like adjacent jacuzzis and waterfalls. But the return on the investment for the individual or family that enjoys swimming often and year-round is much greater on inground pools.

The Inground Pool Design For Fun and Savings?

During those hot and sultry days of summer, having a backyard pool is a heavenly thing. Having an inground pool is even better. It's not hard to imagine having friends over to sit around the pool, bask in the sun, and cool off in that inground pool. Even the children can come over because that pool even has a shallow end. Unfortunately many people will forgo this idea because of the costs. So they will get an above-ground pool which is still a lot of fun and offers many relaxing ways to cool off. However, the inground pool is permanent. It won't break and will also raise the value of the home. If the decision is made to get an inground pool, there are important things to decide. Use a company that is reputable and who will give you an estimate before they shovel that first piece of ground. Have them show a picture of what the pool will look like when it is finished. By using digital technology they can show the pool image right on the computer screen. Find out about sanitation and safety rules such as chlorine levels, fences and locked gates. Learn about the costs of water and how much of it will be needed. One way to keep the cost of the inground pool down to meet budget needs is to study the different inground pool designs that are available. This inground pool design could determine and even lower the cost by the amount of water needed, the size of the pool and how much ground really needs to be removed. If the budget only allows for a smaller pool, then that's the one to go with. Even a small pool can come in an interesting inground pool design. Maybe that design is a simple square, circle or rectangle, or perhaps it could be a figure eight. Even the bottom of the pool could have a design such as a fish or a wave. The choice of pool liner will also influence the total price of the inground pool. The pool liner is what makes the inside of the pool stand out from the rest and adds that beautiful shade of blue to the shimmering water. Be sure to choose a liner that resists puncturing, cracking and tearing and that can withstand very cold temperatures. Even inground pool companies have special sales, and that's a wonderful way to save money for many hot days of fun.

What are the advantages of above ground pools?

They are cheaper, less money to maintain, transportable, and convenient, especially if you need to change out the water for whatever reason (ie, a kid has an accident).

How To Decide if an Inground Pool is the Right Choice?

The warmer months are often filled with anticipation of the season’s outdoor activities, and more consumers than ever are looking at their possible purchases for the summer. Many property owners would love to have an inground pool, but it is important for them to consider several key points before making any hasty decisions. While an above ground pool can be moved if necessary, an inground pool is going to be a permanent fixture. Not only does this mean that a consumer may have to move to a new home without their place to swim, but it also means that they can’t simply decide they no longer wish to deal with it. Chemicals and cleanings can prove to be expensive over time, but they certainly are worth the cost if the pool is going to be enjoyed for years to come. Certain liabilities are created when an inground pool is installed, and while it doesn’t mean that installation should be avoided, there are several things that must be done. The swimming area must always be secure and inaccessible to individuals without permission. A suitable liability insurance policy or rider on a homeowner’s existing policy should be maintained to protect the consumer from lawsuits or detriment. Other options are available in addition to the installation of an inground pool, and some consumers may decide that an above ground pool is more suitable for their needs. While an inground pool is more expensive, it’s worth mentioning that it can possibly increase the value of a property and can therefore be seen as more of an investment than any other type of swimming pool. However, certain individuals will decide that it simply isn’t worth the extra money if they are planning on relocating in the near future. Too many consumers allow their decisions to be clouded by excitement and enticing thoughts, and it is important to note that an inground pool may not be the right choice for everyone. However, if the above points have been considered, an individual will find themselves in a position to make a much more informed decision than if they rushed into the process without taking enough time to stop and think.
