I have a 1999 Gtp and when i use gas from certain gas stations my light will come but go out once i drive that tank of gas out and fill it up at a different place. Hope this might help This can be related to many engine monitoring functions. Including the O2 sensors and engine modifications. AutoZone and some other auto places will pull the computer codes for free.(but not reset the light) Be root cause oriented and find out what code is being set and what part is defective. Replace this and solve your problem. Hope this helps. "G" A powertuner has the capabilities of resetting a check engine light. However, depending on the code it is throwing and what is potentially wrong, the code will be thrown again and thus your light will come back on again. Autozone or other such auto places can read the code that is being thrown but will not reset the light because for them to do is a violation.
