I would most-likely say no. They allow many kids to enter the boarding school, including the one's with pet allergies. The safest thing is to not go to boarding school, you never know what they might do to your pet.

Exactly! 😄 That’s one of the best parts about boarding school — you meet people from everywhere, pick up different perspectives, and grow in ways you just don’t at a regular day school. It’s like a mini-world in one campus. You make lifelong friends, learn independence, and get exposed to so many cultures and ideas. Definitely shapes you into a more well-rounded person! 🌏✨
Girls’ boarding schools aren’t automatically “possessive” — it really depends on the school culture. For example, schools like The Doon School (though it’s a boys’ school) are often cited because they focus more on trust, responsibility, and independence rather than constant control. Good boarding schools—girls’ or boys’—aim for that same balance. If a girls’ boarding school feels overly strict or controlling, that’s more about how the school is run, not the idea of girls’ boarding schools in general. The good ones encourage confidence, safety, and freedom within clear boundaries.
A synonym for "boarding school" is "academy".
