Is there an instrument or device that can provide accurate data of an alloy's composition without having to go to a chemical lab to dissolve or break down the alloy to determine its composition?

Depending on how accurate you need to get, weighing and comparison of electrical conductivity with the International Annealed copper Standard will give an indication.
