I think you get a fine.
I think its fine for you to not wear your seatbelt in any state.
In many states if you are over a certain age (usually 16) and you are sitting in the back seat, you are not legally required to wear a seatbelt. Apart from that I don't think there is any legal reason not to wear one. also in the state of Indiana you don't have to wear a seat belt if you drive a truck, you can also go to your family doctor and he can write you an exempt from wearing a seat belt like i did. just tell him something is wrong with your neck and it becomes painful after you wear the seat belt to long. it will look just like a prescription and you need to carry it in your car at all times. but it works perfect and is legal.
Depending on where you live, in most states (possibly all) any person(s) above the age of 16 whom aren't wearing the seatbelt get the ticket, not the driver. If the person who is without seatbelt is under the age of 16, then the driver gets the ticket.
No. But you will get a ticket. Like some signs say " Click it or ticket."Added: Going to court is ALWAYS an option for any traffic ticket, although you might be hard-pressed to offer testimony that you did, or did not, were wearing your seat belt.
In Illinois the law is that any child under the age of eight years old must be secured in a child safety seat. Any person over eight must be using a seat belt.
ANY frayed seat belt MUST be replaced. Fraying, cuts, or any other damage can and DOES make a seat belt fail. Think about this for a moment. $30 or so, OR your life..
On your own property. First, it is NEVER a good idea to have a person ride in any vehicle without wearing a seat belt. Some states allow people over the age of 18 to ride in the back of a pickup, but laws vary by state.
Every age. Any person can be thrown out of a vehicle. It doesn't have to do with age, weight or height. That's why in most states it's illegal to drive without one.
There are many reasons why one would want to wear a wide seat belt in a car when driving. The biggest reason why one would wear a wide seat belt is if they were too fat for a normal seat belt.
Don't even mess with this. Replace the belt! This is a serious safety issue. FriPilot
Just short of an expert dropping by, I'll offer my "esteemed" opinion: I don't think it matters - as long as it fits I'd go with any available belt assembly.
