NO - absolutely not ! They require completely different temperature ranges (corns around 18-22 C - Children's python 28-30 C) ! Beside which - the two species would never co-habit naturally - since they're from completely different countries !
They are non-venomous and stay small. As long as your child does not hold the snake around it's neck they should be fine. To reduce bacteria and risk of infection, it's cage should be cleaned each time it defecates and sanitized once every week or so. Do not have too high of humidity in it's cage or mold will grow.
