any other religion than WHAT? I think most 'Christian' religions adhere to this belief, if you definition of "a torture stake" could be a cross.
Chrisitianity because I am a true Christian and I know that there is no other religion to get eternal life through Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ .
Belief in Jesus Christ. Jesus said. "Neither is there salvation in any other, for at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, of things in heaven or things in Earth and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Through out the four gospels and the other books of the New Testament we are told to follow the Messiah or the Christ, that is Jesus Christ. If you are a follower of Jesus you are of the Christian religion or faith. Nowhere does it tell us to follow another.
Actually Christ Jesus, the head of the Christian arrangement, does not want his religion to be equal to other religions. Jesus said: 'I am - - the way, the truth, and the life."; then he said: "NO ONE, comes to the Father, except through me."Since Christ Jesus claims to be the son of the Creator of the Universe; he does not want his religion to be on par with other religions. They are considered 'pagan' by him.Jesus twice came into the temple, and he disrespected the other worshipers, by overturning their tables and booths.
Jesus Christ Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Messiah that was promised. Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Second Person of the Trinity.) Jesus Christ is God (Second Person of the Trinity.) All the other prophets were just ordinary men chosen by God to present His message to others.
Christianity is the only religion that claims God walked the earth in the form of a man. His name was Jesus and his title was the Christ (anointed one).
All religions have disciples. A disciple is a follower of what ever religion they desire. Christian disciples follow Jesus Christ's teachings in the Bible. A disciple of Jesus has the responsibility to tell other people about Jesus Christ. In this way people can know what Jesus Christ did for the world and if called by God for salvation can respond to that call. Down through the centuries disciples of Christ have spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and many people now have eternal life. Christians believe that Jesus is "the way, the truth and the life" and that no one comes to the Father (God) except through Jesus ( John 14:6).
Christian religions acknowledge both the present existence and Lordship of Jesus Christ, but most other religions acknowledge that Jesus Christ once lived
The Catholic Church's Good Shepard is Jesus Christ our Lord. The other shepards (eg. Priests, deacons, bishops) are instruments for Jesus' use of bringing His children back to His arms. But primarily, the Good Shepard is God (Jesus is God)
Back then they didn't have last names so it is only Jesus Christ to us. Although, he was referred to as Jesus of Nazareth in those times. The word "Christ" is a title and not part of His name. In other words it should read Jesus the Christ.
