Yes
I have a 96 Ford Escort LX. I need to replace the vent and the fuel intake rubber hose that come from the gas tank. Can you tell me what size both hoses are?
Radiator hoses are made of rubber and over time these units fail due to the environment. When they fail the rubber can get dry rotted which will cause the lines to flatten and crack.
If your car is stalling while it is idling you could have a vacuum leak in one of your hoses. I had that problem on my 2000 escort ZX2.
The rubber ball, eraser, tyre, shoes, rubber hoses .
?
Yes.
Your 1993 Ford Escort has many vacuum hoses. They all originate at the intake manifold. Trace all of them back to the intake manifold.
The fuel filter could be the cause for this common problem in a diesel. Also, check the condition of the fuel hoses. While most of the fuel lines are metal, there is a small amount that are rubber, and from personal experience, the hoses, if worn, could collaps due to long use and restrict fuel flow.
The 1995 Ford Escort series of vehicles have a conventional heater core design and location. The heater hoses through the firewall are on the right-front (passenger) side of the vehicle.?æ
There are many vacuum hoses on a 1999 zx2. They all originate at the intake plenum. Backtrack from there to find the one you want.
Debris in the hoses or reservoir could cause the motor to overheat. Also, running the pump without fluid could do the same.
As long as you keep the oil full it shouldn't really hurt anything. Keep in mind that oil left on rubber parts....(hoses, bushings etc) can cause the rubber to soften and deteriorate over a period of time.
