I have a 96 Ford Escort LX. I need to replace the vent and the fuel intake rubber hose that come from the gas tank. Can you tell me what size both hoses are?
The temperature sending unit on the 1995 Escort is on top of the engine. It is mounted at the thermostat housing, where the top radiator hose comes in.
The heater hose on a 1997 Ford Escort has got both the length and radius. The length is 417 millimeters while the radius is 50 millimeters.
A VENT HOSE
The PCV valve on a 1996 Ford Escort 1.9L is located between the engine and the radiator. It is near the vacuum hose.
For a 1995 Ford Escort , 1.9 liter four cylinder engine : Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator to the engine The hose connects to the engine cooling thermostat housing ( the thermostat is inside the housing )
The egr valve is located on top towards the rear of the engine. It is on the drivers side where the air intake hose comes from the air filter.
There is none. You will need to remove the lower hose.
Install block heater in lower rad hose .
its usually in the drivers side vavle cover. look for a 3/8 rubber hose going to the valve cover. the pcv vavle goes into a rubber grommet and usually comes out at 90 degree angle.
follow the driver's side top radiator hose and it will lead right to it.
Follow the small hose from the radiator. It goes to the recovery tank.
TRY TO UNHOOK HOSE FROM WASHER AND BLOW AIR THROUGH
