Dust, dirt, clay... it's all of the elements of the earth. And when fire burns hot enough... they all turn to ashes.
Any local scientist will tell you that we are made up of the elements of the earth. With a generous helping of water thrown into the mix.

But if you refer to the Bible for your basis of fact, then actually yes. The Bible can be proven historically, scientifically, analytically, and philosophically to be a book written by a source of greater wisdom and knowledge than any mortal earth bound being. And it CAN be proven that God created man from dust as it is written in the Bible that He did this.
But this is a very much debated and argued topic.

Ask any scientist what man is made of, and most [if not all of them] will tell you that man is made of the elements of the earth -- dirt [or dust -- just add water].
The scientific fact, apart from the Bible, is that man ISdirt.
How the ancient writers of the Bible knew that... and "quoted God as saying that" was either a lucky guess on their part -- or they were "inspired by God" to record it as scripture claims.

∙ 9y agoIn the second creation story (Genesis 2:4b-20), God created man from the moist dirt, and created a woman, Eve, from his rib. However, in the first creation story (Genesis 1:1-2:4a) God simply spoke man (both male and female) into existence.

∙ 8y agoWhat kind of scientific proof can there be? Man is clearly not composed of dust, and no man ever was. The Bible story is a nice story to tell children, but do not look for proof outside the Bible.
