This is no value, unless you robbed the US Treaury Vault. The US Treasury has all the original notes ever issued and all of them have been accounted for. There are no missing serial numbers, in other words. There are a ton of counterfeit items out there with bogus stories of being discovered in sunken chests, boats, etc. No individual ever had access to any of the original gold certificates as they were only used in inter-bank transactions. There were only 42,000 ever issued. Be sure, though, that there are tons of bogus items...one I just saw listed on eBay today from someone in the Philippines. There are scams on websites with individuals "innocently" posting inquiries, but these are obvious ploys to dupe the unwitting. If you can get one, it is a fake. Invest in real estate on Mars or one of the many hype stocks.... if you just want to throw away your money.
In, addition. the Wilson $100,000 gold certificate was printed in the 1934 series not 1935. If yours says 1935 it's definitely a fake.
