Is there any way to help poor people against politics?

Most people can not avoid political trouble. And when it comes, it is usually too late or difficult to undo. Hopefully, elections are conducted fairly so that complete auditing of the voting process is possible. It is said "He who counts the votes determines the results." This is why electronic voting via hidden, secretly kept machines, and software is very bad since invisible ballots have lead to voting and election fraud. Hopefully, elections are held on a frequent enough basis to undo any bad laws or policies put into place by a prior administration (government). Information, knowledge, and their dissemination are key to any situation involving politics. Unfortunately, a lot of information is available that is missing key parts, is slanted or biased by the people who control mass media. Mainstream mass media today is in the hands of a few key corporations. To counteract these biases and missing information, it is best to seek out alternative media that is available on the internet. Poor people may only be able to use the Internet via public libraries, and time and speed restrictions may prevent enough useful, valuable information from being obtained. Poor people are usually less educated. People who are less educated are likely to have a lower aptitude for book learning studies as are found in most school systems. Due to the poor economy over the last 30 years, the price of education keeps on rising, locking out otherwise eligible students for higher education. Politics involves the power to make or change laws. Laws are enforced by government departments, police, lawyers, and judges. Lawyers and judges are usually very well paid. Corruption has been known to find its way into all levels of these fields. More often than not, corruption is not exposed unless an insider leaks the information, and the information is published by mainstream media. Because of control exerted on such media companies, the leaks may fully document the corruption going on, but unless the people who control the media allow its publication, no one will be the wiser, and the corruption will likely go on, unchecked, or unconfirmed. One way to begin one's path of gathering and spreading information, and knowledge is to begin to probe the Internet for "suppression" of various types: suppressed discoveries, suppressed inventions, suppressed science, suppressed history, and so on. Much of this discovery process will uncover various conspiracy theories on various topics. Most of these topics will outline that certain happenings in the past were not accidental as was initially reported and that afterwards further information / or evidence had surfaced that contradicted the official stories published / publicized at the time. To be fully apprised of all aspects in these matters, much reading of both sides of the arguments must be examined in full without dismissing out of hand any minor flaws in the re-tellings of events. In such research one often finds more flaws in the story told by the people who are politically attempting to sway opinions heavily to suit themselves (the most corrupt people). It is very important not to lose perspective in conducting investigation into these matters so that you end up embittered and fostering a hatred towards groups or individuals without solid proof of wrong doing. Many hate groups are founded by people looking into fringe information who do not examine both sides of the argument or dispute, nor do they document what lead them to their beliefs so that the information can be scrutinized independently by persons with greater educational background, higher intelligence levels, and access to greater information. Medicine is a field in which politics has been established since the early 1900s by a set of rich tycoons. The group formed a medical monopoly of allopathic doctors that promoted the use of drugs, surgery, and burning to treat symptoms of disease and not necessarily the underlying causes of disease. Drugs have thus become a very big business with a lot of wealth and political influence. Electro-medicine, herb medicines, and a number of other different forms of medicine all compete against organized allopathic medicine. Any potential competition is usually crushed by name calling of quackery and nostrums. Sometimes science is fraudulently used to suppress a treatment method. The only way to combat such things is to publicize criticism that addresses the flaws in the subject study literature, or methodology. This is impossible to do without someone with adequate qualifications being able to examine the information and then publish their findings for others to read freely.
