There already is it called "Star Wars: A New Hope" and it was released in 1977.
After that there were two sequels: The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Later there were three prequels which occurred before A New Hope.
Currently there are no plans for a sequel to Return of the Jedi.
