There is so far no such thing as a warriors movie and I actually have asked Erin hunter if there will be on her website awhile ago and she said "we are working hard to establish a movie but right now we have no plans for one"

Well, on Facebook, the only Erin Hunter page said that there was going to be a movie in 2010, but I'm not sure if it's the real Erins.

The rights to a Warriors movie has been claimed by New Line Cinema, although it had not been revealed who the director is. The cats will be CGI with very realistic fur and environments. The movie has not yet started production although will hit theaters around 2011. Zac Efron will be voicing Graystripe while Elijah Wood will be voicing Firestar, and Liam Neeson (voice of Aslan in Narnia) will be voicing Lionheart. The voice of Bluestar is Rihanna .

I think there is one planned around 2012.

AGH! this is all lies! I TALKED TO VICTORIA HOLMES MYSELF! She said that last year it was a possibility but now because of the econemy it probably won't happen for awhile! She does NOT know if zac efron,Elijah wood, Liam neeson, rihanna, WHAT EVER! In fact she said she would try to not get zac efron because she understands that most preteens without brain damage hates HSM and she does too! *crowd cheers* AND! She is worried about PG, and PG-13 and stuff. 'Cuz if she makes it PG, none of the solid solid fans over the age of 13 would see it, and if its PG-13 then the extreamly smart 4th and 5th graders who are under-privledged won't be able to see it and she doesn't want to dumb warriors down to the whole no blood crap so ALL OF YOU PEOPLE HERE TODAY WILL BE AWARE THAT ALL OF THESE STUPID RUMORS ARE RUMORS! Exacltly up there i have to agree but I'm a 5th[6th now] grade But I'm not a super smart freak EVERyONE Used to like warriors in my class and on the warriors website even said 'IF' there is it would be a while why do they even show blood anyways 4th and 5th graders like it

I emailed the Erin Hunters about that question, but I haven't gotten a reply yet. But i don't think so.

This is all lies. On the warrior cats website in FAQ it says that there are no definite plans for a warriors movie and because of the global financial crisis there is not going to be one for a long time.

It has been said before that they are trying to get the director of Lord Of The Rings to do it. But he just got out of the hospital and he has just started to film The Hobbit around now which is March 2011. If they are going to make a warriors movie and hope that they do, then it will probably be around late 2011 or 2012 or 2013. I think the Erin Hunters really want to make a warriors movie, but we might have to wait a long time.(sigh)

There are plans for a "Warrior Cats" movie, but there has been no official confirmation on when it will be released. The project is still in development, so fans will have to wait for further updates.
