Is there happiness in loosing

For sure most would say, "No, of course not!" Most of these are because of the selfishness of not being able to get what they want, or the sadness of losing what they loved and/or wanted most

But this all depends on what part of the word losing deals with. Is there happiness in losing the million dollar lottery? Not really, but there is happiness when someone of less fortune wins it instead. Is there happiness in losing a loved one? No. There can be happiness, however, in celebrating the life of that lost loved one, that [s]he lived a good life before [s]he died. But of losing a baby, a child? That is the most saddest thing to ever go through. No happiness is there for a parent who lost a child. Nor is there happiness when a child loses a beloved parent. Is there happiness in losing everything you ever owned to an "Act of God" like a hurricane, a tornado, a flood, or a fire? No. But happiness is there when a community comes together to help you out, to give you clothes, food and shelter, and maybe even rebuild your house and home.

So is there happiness in losing? In most cases, no. But when you pick yourself up, keep optimistic, you will find an open door that will lead you to a different path and a different opportunity.

Sometimes losing something leads to winning something else that you have wanted or needed for quite some time.
