I have a 98' with a V6 3.1L and it only has one, it is located behind the gas tank, and it was in a box with one screw, un-screwed it, and there was the fuel filter. Im assuming yours only has one as well, the easy way to check is to call your local Parts Source, or GM - Chevrolet, dealer and ask them, or ask a Canadian tire for a fuel filter, and if they say which one, then you know there more than one.
