On 1984-1989 Corvette, the dash top grilles only housed speakers if the car was not fitted with Bose stereo, about 10% of production. TOM
No need. The speakers come out the top of the dash.
The front dash speakers in the 89 Mazda b series pickup trucks are 4".
4X6's in the front of the dash... 6x9's in the rears...
4"x6" in dash and in rear
FIRST VERIFY THAT THERE ARE REALLY SPEAKERS THERE, MINE JUST HAS GRILL AND NO SPEAKERS, I BELIEVE BOSE SYSTEM DOES NOT HAVE SPEAKERS THERE. IF YOU DID WANT TO GET TO THEM, YOU WOULD NEED TO REMOVE ALMOST THE WHOLE DASH TO GET TO THEM. MY GRILLS WERE NOT REMOVABLE FROM THE TOP. I HAVE REMOVED THE WHOLE DASH DOWN TO THAT POINT. DONT DO IT. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND HOW MUCH YOU HAVE TO REMOVE TO GET THERE. That is correct. No dashboard speakers on Bose System. Billy
The speakers i put in the dash of my 98 were 3.5 inch speakers!
Yes....try Hypertech or JET.
with a sledgehammer.
The stock location of the front speakers on a 1976 Corvette depends on what option the owner went with when the car was purchased. If they went with a MONO stereo, you will have one speaker in the center of the dash; if it originally came with a STEREO radio, it has a speaker in front of the driver and one in front of the passenger, both in the dash. Here's a great article I stumbled across if you need more help: http://www.superchevy.com/technical/interior/soundsystem/sucp_0710_corvette_stereo_installation/index.html
The stock speakers in a 1994 Chevrolet Corvette coupe measure 4 inches by 6 inches in the kick panel. The pillar speakers measure 5 1/4 inches.
There are no dash speakers.Just 6.5" door speakers and ~1.25" tweeters.
They are usually 3.5" speakers.
