That is nearly the same as asking is there such a thing as God. There are many people throughout the world that are convinced that reincarnation is a fact of life. Buddhism puts forward that reincarnation is the passing from life to life going through all the trials and tribulations that are on offer until you come to a juncture where you understand reality. at which point you become a conscious part of all of existence. the Hindus have different levels of the same sort of idea and there are many other groups that think along the same lines. There are many books available on the subject both ancient and modern. And whether they lead you to believe in reincarnation or not the thoughts surrounding the whole concept are both fascinating and give a new slant on the way to look at life. However As is the case with any thing that involves the afterlife you have to go there to know hat is right. I like the concept of reincarnation myself because it seems to be more sensible then having a giant man judging us all of a sudden at the end of your life.
