I would suggest a printable silicone As opposes to the normal silicone sealant as this will allow for the stucco to be painted at a later date if required
If the sealant between the clear front portion and the rear black portion is gray.. Set your oven to 250 degrees, bake the headlight for about 8-14 min. This will soften the sealant. Just pull apart, be sure to use leather gloves or something of course. Repeat in reverse to reseal. Use some High temp RTV sealant to complete the seal. --If you have the headlights with the black sealant, this trick will not work.
On most cars a gasket is required along with the RTV sealant. A new gasket should have come with the water pump. Ask the parts house where you purchased the part.
