I'm trying to answer your question asap, as requested.

Don't know if you're planning on using 3% hydrogen peroxide by itself on your hair or if you're going to try to mix it with a color. Either way, you won't get the results you're after. 3% H202 will hardly lighten the hair when used by itself and it is definitely not made to be mixed with a color. If you're attempting to lighten your hair, use a highlift color or a lightener that's made for this purpose. Use a color developer if you're mixing it with a hair color. Any other questions about this, feel free to message me.

Will drinking pure 35 percent food grade hydrogen Peroxide allow you to pass a drug test?

I don't know, but it would make you very, very sick. It is very corrosive to the digestive tract. The percentage of hydrogen peroxide used in first aid is only 3%, and physicians have started telling their patients not to use it because it causes tissue damage. In looking this up on Google, I found a company advertizing food grade hydrogen peroxide. When explaining how to use it for personal use, the article instructs the reader to mix 1 part 35% H2O2 with 11 parts water, which will give you a 3% solution of H2O2, which you can get at a pharmacy or the first aid section of your local grocery store, Wal-Mart, etc... for very little money. Please click on the related link to read a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for 35% hydrogen peroxide.

I gave my dog 500mg Tylenol. is he going to die?

Tylenol is fatal to dogs at even smaller dosages, please take him to the vet immediately and he can be saved.Immediately give the pet1 tablespoon of Hydrogen Peroxide. Wait 15 minutes to see if the dog vomits. If not give the dog one slice of bread, and another 1 tablespoon of Hydrogen Peroxide.

What is the hydrogen peroxide function?

Hydrogen Peroxide is represented as H2O2 which is like water but with one extra Oxygen molecule. The catalase enzyme found in our whole body will react with the Hydrogen peroxide releasing the extra oxygen molecule in the H2O2 breaking it down to just water (H2O) and pure oxygen (O). Bacteria cannot survive in this very rich oxygen environment so they die instantly before the oxygen diffuses into the air.

Is there a risk of too frequently using hydrogen peroxide to make your dog vomit?

If the dog has swallowed something harmful, first call the vet . If the vet says to induce vomiting, mix hydrogen peroxide with some lukewarm water. Should use 1 tsp for every ten pounds that the dog weighs. It should take at least 15-20 minutes until the dog finally does vomit. Please note that I have been advised by some vets that hydrogen peroxide can damage the esophagus and cause bleeding and other problems. Of course, if you are in dire straights and cannot reach an emergency vet, this may be your only option. Just be careful!

Is hydrogen peroxide an electrolyte?

yes!!!!!!!!Please see below for a more useful answer Specific ConductivityThe measured conductivity is largely a function of H2O2 purity. Like water, H2O2 is a very weak electrolytewith the electrical conductivity of its solutions being similar to that of water. H2O2 is also an excellent ionizing solvent.Ref: W.C. Schumb, C.N. Satterfield, R.L. Wentworth. "Hydrogen Peroxide", ACS Monograph, Reinhold Publishing Corp., New York (1955), pg. 757.

Can you bleach your hair by yourself?

Im'm not sure what you want here. Are you bleaching your hair for beauty or disinfecting[ see catergories ] You can NOT disinfect head lice. Thet need a pediculacide, like Kwell shampoo. Hair bleach for coloring is hydrogen peroxide. which comes in liquid and powder-to-be mixed forms. Chlorine bleach for cleaning is sodium hypochloride. Either can cause blindness, and to strip your hair of all color with hydrogen peroxide is called " double processing" and should be done by a professional. Please be careful.
