comment...if nail glue is tested on a material it may burn, then it makes you wonder if its bad for your nails. my opinion is that it is , but im no expert.
Not really, to keep them from being all icky when yu take it off, just put a couple (1-2) coats of clear nail polish on before putting on the glue onto your nails.
hope that helps :)
The last paragraph is false here are some reasons why they are bad for you.
1.When you remove them you remove a layer of your natural nail off, which often leaves them weak or brittle.
2.They can grow bacteria which can make you sick.
3.If you get them done at a salon, the tools might be dirty and could give you Hepatitis, a really bad sickness.
4.The solvents in the Glue are bad for your Nails.
So if I were you I would not put on fake nails on all the time, just for special occasions like 1-3 times a year would be fine if you love having pretty and cute nails. Otherwise don't wear them. Like I said before wear them 1-3 times a year because they can damage you nails and nails need to breath so they can grow. But they can harm you if you wear them like nearly every month just wearing them on really special occasions would be perfectly fine.
I hope you found this useful. ;~)
this is my first time wearing them and im going to be wearing them for 2 days is it still bad to do or wat i need to now before i go get them done???
They are in a sense because you have to file down the nail, and that can damage the exterior of your nail, making it weaker and more frail. I've also heard that "the acrylic eats at your nails" but I don't know if that's true or not. I highly doubt it though.
Not at all. This is a myth. If your nails are done properly in a salon by a qualified nail technician, there will be no problems if you come back every 2-3 weeks for "fills". And with proper removal from the qualified nail tech, your nails will be in the same if not better condition than they were before.
Answer 1
Yes they are. The glue used can damage the natural nail and there is also a fungus that can form under the fake nails causing damage to the natural nail.

Answer 2
No. If done properly in a salon by a qualified nail technician they are completely safe. Be sure to keep up with "fills" whether its acrylic or gel. Usually 2 weeks from initial application should you be scheduled for a fill. If the client (you) takes care of the enhancements (no picking, biting, using them as tools etc) they will last however long you decide to keep them on. With proper removal of the nails by a qualified nail tech, your natural nails will be in the same condition if not better than they were before initial application.
Indeed acrylics and glue on nails damage and weaken your natural nail, but the decision of whether or not to get them is yours. It doesn't ruin your nail but it doesn't help it either.
No! Fake nails are the worst things you could do! In fact your nail can come off from fake nails. However its ok to have them on every once in a while.
Absolutely Not. The glue used in fake nail will damage your natural nails making it weaker over time and more difficult for you natural nails to grow. Use a strengthening nail polish instead.
Nail Glue or Super Glue. If your fake nails came with nail glue use that, if not super glue because it is the same thing. Nail Glue=Super Glue (Just in a different package) -Lizzy (The Cat Lady)
Fake nail glue can not kill you, but may injure your fingers.
i woulnt sugeest to use fake nail glue because it might harm your teeth and it aint very healthy so you might damage your gums and your teeth
Super glue will allow the nails to stay on. Apply a thin even coat to the back of the false nail. Press it on evenly, and quickly work out any air bubbles. When it is time to remove the nail, soak the fingertip in an acetone nail polish remover until the fake nail is softened.
use super glue whoever answered this before is dumb fake nails are fine but you can get a nail glue any Walgreen's or walmart/targetbut i combine nail glue and super glue and it works great
you can get fake long nails at the nail salon
pva glue is not waterproof, however, some recommend mixing with nail hardener to make a homemade nail glue
buy fake ones or buy nail art pens
You can use any nail glue found in drugstores or you can use krazy glue.
The main disadvantage of the prolonged use of nail glue is that over time, it makes real fingernails dry and brittle, as well as the nails becoming very thin.
you use glue andd wipe it on your real nail with your fingers then put the fake nail in the tweezers and place it gently
Ive never actually tried it
